Some of Iraq’s most significant archaeological treasures damaged by ISIL during its occupation have now been restored.
ISIL’s propaganda videos, which circulated worldwide, showed its fighters destroying ancient Assyrian artefacts and blowing up historic sites.
Since then, experts have painstakingly pieced together thousands of fragments to restore the damaged artefacts.
